About Us

Benedetto R. DiMichele, co-founder of Commercial Appraisal Services is a native of East Longmeadow, Massachusetts and a graduate of University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He began his appraisal career in 1997 as a fee appraiser for one of the largest appraisal firms in western Massachusetts, Crowley and Associates of Wilbraham, Massachusetts. This association continued until 2013 and this formed a sound base for his independent appraisal firm venture.
Ben has performed over 1,300 appraisals representing nearly one billion dollars in assets throughout Massachusetts. He has experience in all commercial property categories, and specializes in analysis of apartment complexes, golf courses, gasoline service stations and condominium developments.

He has also performed various analyses on non-traditional property types including: restaurants, industrial properties of all types, mobile home parks, skating rinks, auto dealerships, residential subdivisions and self-storage facilities.

Robert Sluka, co-founder of Commercial Appraisal Services is a native of Berkshire County and moved to the Pioneer Valley after graduating from Western New England University. Bob also started his appraisal career at Crowley and Associates in 2003 then joined Richard Kane and Associates in 2009 until deciding it was time to take the next step in his career.

Over the years Bob has completed appraisals for a diverse client base which includes financial institutions, corporations, law firms, municipalities as well as individuals. Property types Bob has appraised is also diverse in nature and includes apartments, retail, office, land, mixed use, automotive, industrial and institutional. This background has provided Bob with the experience and knowledge to provide clients a consistent level of quality and service.
